Pinhole Vision
Daniel Kazimierski
“In my personal work for over 35 years, I have been using pinhole cameras almost exclusively. I have found a way to create a personal, evocative style using their elemental technology and long exposure times. With no viewfinder to look through, the camera becomes less of a machine between the photographer and subject and more of an extension of the photographer’s physical presence in a scene. Pinhole exposures take a long time. There is no capturing of a moment, only of time spent.”
