Crosscuts, Smithville Road, Cape Breton
Daniel Kazimierski
Although the village of Smithville is no longer to be seen, there are still beautiful farms nestled in its charming hills and valley. Along the roads are stacks of cut and trimmed trees waiting to be taken to the paper mill some 45 miles south. In times past and today, many farmers and fishermen have supplemented their income by obtaining leases or permits to cut pulp wood.
In addition to prints available for purchase through this site,
gallery-wrapped canvas prints of single images in different sizes with a 1″ white border or
panels of several images are available by special request.
