“I always painted. relentlessly as a child, on into school and college and graduate school. To pay my way through graduate school, I worked in a graphic design studio and then set out on my own. I tackled books and magazines, corporate projects and music packaging – and then became a teacher of design. Sometimes I did illustrations by hand or with photography, which gave me great joy.

From time to time, I would plunge back into drawing or painting, using traditional materias and the computer. I had a couple of shows. But then I would get too busy, and the studio would go unused. A few years ago I made a commitment to stop teaching and return to fine art. And here I am.”
